New edition of the General Transformer Maintenance Guide. Current technical, economic and environmental challenges

The article presents the most important changes in the General Transformer Maintenance Guide, that have been introduced to ed. 2022. The reasons for the revision caused by changes in normative acts and regulations, the use of modern construction materials, the introduction of new measurement methods and the need to adjust the requirements to the changing population of transformers as well as economic and environmental factors are also discussed.
