Measurement of dust electrification-capability in the installation

Przemysław Kędzierski

The article presents tests whose aim is to determine the static electricity hazard during current flow and dust ripping against the pipe made of plastic material. The pipe has been made of polycarbonate, an electrifying material. Dust has been inserted into the pipe. The dust movement was driven with pump. Electrostatic voltage on metal electrodes in several spots of the pipe and dust-feeding installation.
